Im really really really going to Cape Town!!!! Just got my ticket this afternoon, double-checked that I don't need a visa, withdrawn enough money for my trip, almost done with my packing, now all I have to do is wait for Thursday to come!!!!! I can't can't wait. I'll try to blog everyday and I'll take and post lots of pics!! OMG I'm so excited now. I thought this dream of mine wouldn't materialise but it's really going to happen. Oh and I know I havent blogged in a really really long time but the computer's crashed and I feel uncomfortable posting with people around you know. Haha maybe it sounds silly.
Anyway just had prom on Friday. It was ok I guess. Kind of boring at first. The MC sucked!!! I think the highlight of it was Mdm. Hassan hosting the Grand Lucky Draw. They had DVD players, mp3 players and digicams to give away!! But I didn't win anything though. I never win lucky draws. And I lost my ticket stub anyway. It would have been really really disappointing if my number was called out and I didn't have the slip of paper with me. I don't really have pictures to post because I didn't have a camera that night so waiting for people to send to me. Then I can upload to my photobucket and post, or upload it to my photo album.
I just did my research, and the South African Rand is so freaking strong now!! When we were there in '03, S$1 was like R5, and now its R3.83! So which means I have to bring more than I wanted to bring earlier. Oh well, it's ok. I probably won't get to go back again for a long time. So I guess it's worth it!
