Eyes aflame with Light!*

today was the first sec 4/sec 3 assembly of the year. as usual mrs loke had plenty to say. 20 mins of principal's address on issues which i think have already been drilled into our heads far too much. and as usual i dont think anyone was paying too much attention to her. then we had the prize-giving for the Good Progress Award recipients. haha $150 into my bank account. wheeee!~ and i love 4e9. we are the best!! haha..

on the way home i saw 15 about to pull in into the bus stop. at first i wanted to run towards it so that i dont have to wait 10 mins for the next one. but then i realised it will be stupid to run for the bus so i decided to let it go and wait for the next one. about 5 mins later i saw a Lodge School uniform on a girl who had alighted a bus. i thought, 'What the hell is the Lodge School uniform doing on someone in singapore??' well this girl looked at me and said, "nuraini!" and i was like: OH MY FUCKING GOD!!! it's cheryl lim!!! from Lodge International School in kuching!! i havent seen her in about 3 years!! apparently she's studying here now on a vjc scholarship. i was definitely not surprised to hear that because cheryl is super smart and i knew she was going to end up studying in sg sooner or later. kuching just isnt the place for someone as smart as cheryl who has LOADS of potential overseas. but i was so excited and i just screamed and squealed and everyone at the bus stop was looking at us. haha.. but cheryl was one of my close friends in Lodge and i really did miss her. and i am so happy for her that she had gotten a scholarship to study at vjc because she totally deserves it. man.. now i really got to study hard so i can go to vjc because i've always wanted to go to vjc. haha..

but isn't it weird because if i had taken the earlier 15, i would have totally missed her.. this is so cool.
