Mood: hungry, introspective Song stuck in head today: Home by Kit Chan
Can guys ever be "just friends"? Would those feelings of friendship turn into something else? What do they really mean when they say you are "just friends"? Heidi posted this on the forums. It's a quote by Kyle. It's so true and it's really gotten me into a thinking mood.
"Heidi, have you ever seen When Harry Met Sally? My mother told me this in high school and I refused to believe it, but unfortunately, it's true. An unattached guy, no matter how good a guy he is, cannot be friends with a girl. It never lasts because eventually, he's gonna think about what it would be like to be with you, because he's having such a good time with you as a friend, you know? It dosen't mean the whole friendship is fake and it dosen't mean that they befriended you only hoping to get some from you some day. The truth is that even if they have no intent on getting with you in the beginning, guys are always looking for a good girl who won't drive them crazy. It really is a compliment, even if it sucks cause you can't be friends with them now."
